There are many animal, human health, and environmental issues we care deeply about and take action on. One of those issues is the imminent possible release of elephants Billy and Tina to a sanctuary or failure to save them as they face their inevitable death in the Tulsa Zoo. For our two precious elephants we work daily to free them to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee and talk to hundreds of zoo attendees at the LA Zoo every weekend to encourage them to help us in that mission. As long as Billy and Tina are alive we will fight for them.
At the same time, we must keep moving forward with our goal of the abolition of vivisection. That was our original mission and it remains so. Educating the public about the fraud of animal experimentation is our imperative. We recognize that large animal groups have been around a lot longer than we have and have millions of dollars at their disposal and are fund-raising geniuses, but none of them make the necessary connections between disease organizations, vaccines, phony viruses, and animal experimentation. To abolish vivisection, those connections must be made and we must to exist to do that. If we don’t, who will?
Some of the large animal groups will speak out against vivisection as being cruel and mostly useless. Some expose animal experiments that are so patently ridiculous, obscenely cruel, pointless, and a waste of tax dollars, that legislators can be convinced to end them, and they do. There are AV groups who are against vivisection but never point out that vaccines use macerated animal organs in their toxic vaccines. They don’t point out that millions of live fetuses are tortured in slaughterhouses to extract their blood so their serum can be used as components in vaccines. Animal organizations never point out that the profitable vaccine business and the profitable vivisection business are irrevocably joined and that animal testing of vaccines is part of a united industry that keeps them both making billions of dollars a year. None of the big animal groups talk about the fraud of virology and the fake pandemics that cause an explosion of profits for vaccine companies worldwide and engender more vivisection.

If the goal of all AV groups is to abolish vivisection then the fraudulent science of animal experimentation must be in the forefront of our discussions, lab closures, and meetings with members of Congress. Hans Ruesch, author of Slaughter of the Innocent, and Javier Burgos of SUPRESS, made it clear in the 1980s that the public and the decision makers in our government must be made to understand that vivisection is not only cruel, it doesn’t work. That is the weapon we must use to end vivisection. Telling people only that it is cruel and immoral has failed to end vivisection for over 100 years.
Vivisection photos can be seen at this link. https://kindnessandscience.org/this-is-vivisection/
Inroads are being made in closing down vivisection labs, but all of it can be reversed if a new administration comes in and decision makers do not understand the scientific argument against vivisection. One fake pandemic which has pharma and their cohorts in government terrorizing the public will bring back more vaccines and more animal experimentation. One big push by cancer vivisectors to get money from the NIH to find a “cure” to cancer can result in billions of dollars in grants being used to torture more animals in their laboratories.
The only way to prevent that from happening is to end the myth that vivisection benefits human health. The scientific argument is simple — experiments on one species cannot be extrapolated to another because of differences in physiology, metabolism, biochemistry, genetics, diet, and environment. Drugs tested on one species will react differently in another. The results of experiments on one species cannot be expected to garner the same results in another species. But it is the myth created by vivisectors that somehow animal experiments are beneficial to humans that is perpetuating the vivisection industry.
This myth is why Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, new head of the NIH, who knows that vivisection is a fraud, can defend not ending animal experimentation at the NIH — Yes, he may say, vivisection is cruel and it should be cut down, but just a little animal experimentation might be beneficial. What a cop out. Recognizing that all vivisection is a waste of time and money would force Bhattacharya to go up against, arguably, the most powerful political force in the world — the petrochemical/pharmaceutical/medical/vivisection industry. Only someone with a lot of courage and willing to use the facts and the truth as armor would do such a thing. But once the world understands that vivisection has never and will never bring about cures for humans, everyone can stand up for the truth and overcome the liars that seek to perpetuate vivisection — the chief liars being disease organizations.
DISEASE GROUPS
Almost all disease groups are involved in animal experimentation, including, surprisingly, the Red Cross and Easter Seals. All of them constantly ask for more donations for their bio-medical research, which is another word for vivisection, to cure whatever disease they are purporting to want to cure.
St. Jude Research Hospital has been promising a cure to cancer since Danny Thomas founded this children’s hospital in 1962. Since that time, St. Jude has performed heinous experiments on many thousands of animals in their laboratories and are building a bigger vivarium where they can experiment on even more animals. St. Jude, according to the IRS, was worth, in 2021, $7.6 billion. Six of their executives receive million dollars salaries, and 6 of them receive compensation in the high 6 figures. Their American-Syrian-Lebanese fundraising arm was worth over $8 billion in 2021, and two of their executives receive million dollar salaries, eight of them receive compensation in the 6 figures. The FDA has recalled several of St. Jude Medical’s devices and St. Jude had to pay a $27 million settlement in 2021 for knowingly selling defective heart devices. Their commercials continue to promise cures while children undergo cancer treatments like surgery, limb amputation, radiation, and chemotherapy that are not now and never have been “cures” since they were first employed on cancer patients in the 1930s, but which we all know cause a great deal of pain, loss of body weight, loss of hair, destruction of flesh, and often death. For more information go to this link. https://kindnessandscience.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/ksa-St.-Jude-Research-Hospital-St.-Jude-Medical-Abbott-Laboratories.pdf
The American Cancer Society has been experimenting on animals for over 100 years and despite being the richest “charity” in the world, with assets of over $1.3 billion, lavishing their executives with 6 figure salaries, travel expenses, and pensions, are still asking for money for the cure to cancer. We can only guess at the number of animals The Cancer Society has tortured in their laboratories or estimate how much money has been made from cancer drugs by pharmaceutical companies that, like all drugs, suppress symptoms, are proven worthless, cause harmful side effects, and are taken off the market. https://kindnessandscience.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Prism-cancer-card-final-version-KSA.pdf
Susan Komen has been in business since 1982 and has partnered up with the mammogram industry and various cancer-causing polluters like Monsanto and AstraZeneca. Their vivisectors inject cancer cells into rats’ brains, bombard them with radiation, inject needles under their eyes, and perpetrate other brutal experiments on animals. They enlist thousands of people to walk in parades and raise money to enrich their executives and torture more animals pretending to be looking for a cure to breast cancer. Like all disease organizations, prevention and natural therapies are ignored. To Komen, persuading women to get cancer-causing mammograms is “prevention. https://kindnessandscience.org/as-i-lay-dying/
MICHAEL HELPING EDUCATE THOUSANDS OF KOMEN SUPPORTERS — SOME OF THEM LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND
Alzheimer’s researchers have been around for over 100 years, looking for a cure. The favorite targets of their brutality are mice. Vivisectors “genetically engineer” mice to supposedly be more like humans and then drug them, force them to run on treadmills, electrically shock them, subject them to severe head trauma and more. They use other animals in their experiments including frogs, horses, bears, dogs, cats, rabbits, fruit flies, and primates, none of whom develop Alzheimer’s. https://kindnessandscience.org/we-are-not-the-same/
Despite decades of studies showing the connection between Alzheimer’s and aluminum, the aluminum connection is ignored by The Alzheimer’s Association. The aluminum industry objected to the public being told the truth in the 1980s when that connection was made and all reference to it in the media was stopped . Admitting the aluminum/Alzheimer’s connection would substantially lower aluminum profits and put a damper on the animal experiments that are the backbone of the Alzheimer’s Association’s fundraising efforts. Maria Shriver, a vivisectionist like her mother, is a big pusher of animal experiments to find a “cure” to Alzheimer’s. But the only results that come out of Alzheimer’s vivisection labs are “incredible breakthroughs” that turn out to be more drugs that suppress symptoms, cause harm, and are taken off the market.

ADUHELM — ALZHEIMER’S BIG “BREAKTHROUGH” DRUG PREDICTED TO BE A BIG WINNER FOR BIOGEN — POSSIBLY $18 BILLION PER YEAR — TAKEN OFF THE MARKET — BUT MANY MORE “BREAKTHROUGHS” ARE WAITING IN THE WINGS
EDUCATING THE MASSES AND LAWMAKERS
One of our constant educational efforts is to write to legislators regarding the scientific argument against vivisection explaining why it is so important. White Coat Waste has been incredibly successful in closing down government labs and the compassionate members of Congress with whom they work must also understand that all the brutality and waste of these labs could come back in an instant with another administration if the basic truth of the fraud of vivisection has not become common knowledge. Having this knowledge is the only way to fight back when vivisectors and the media start screaming to bring back gruesome animal experiments because people will die in the next “pandemic” or of the next “deadly infectious disease” if they can’t experiment on animals. We intend to keep spreading information regarding the scientific argument and ardently wish that other animal groups would make this one of their most important goals.
THE NIH
For many decades the NIH has consisted of vivisectors who award grants to each other and renew them in perpetuity. There were high hopes when Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was made head of the NIH that he would put a stop to this obscene waste of our tax dollars but hopes soon plummeted. He wasted no time in funding more vivisection and making excuses for why vivisection must continue. He does know the truth but won’t risk his career to expose the fraud of vivisection. Instead of handing out grants to experiment on animals, he could use our tax dollars to take advantage of the many non animal research methods at his disposal. Here are some of those methodologies. https://kindnessandscience.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/KSA-If-Not-Animal-Experimentation-Then-What-2-1.pdf Several well known animal groups have given him a free pass because of the platitudes against vivisection he has offered and overlook his renewed funding of vivisection labs. We will not do that. We must hold his feet to the fire and make his actions match his words.
SO WHAT DO WE DO?
Antivivisectionists have been around almost as long as vivisection — well over a hundred years. But the main message of those opposed to vivisection was that animal experimentation is cruel and immoral. That was the message until 1983, when Hans Ruesch, with the publication of his revolutionary book, Slaughter of the Innocent, gave us the ammunition we needed to finally abolish vivisection. He made it clear that vivisection does not work, it is useless, and has not brought about one cure to any disease despite the false claims of the vivisectors. Any challenge that has been made to vivisectors to dispute that fact has been met with silence. Here is just one of those many challenges issued by one of our favorite doctors and a very brave man. https://kindnessandscience.org/dr-vernon-coleman-the-old-man-in-a-chair/
Groups that educate don’t make a big splash in the media. We don’t go out and rescue animals, although we, as individuals, do rescue animals and do foster animals until homes can be found. Animal rescue groups can easily raise money. Constant mailouts, protests, manning information booths, sending petitions, making phone calls, and mailing educational materials to politicians doesn’t garner much in the way of donations. But they all are a vital part of the movement to abolish vivisection, as is spurring people to take action. Being successful in closing labs, getting legislation passed on all animal issues, and changing minds takes all of us working together. We need each other. The animals need you.
So, on that note, we must continue to encourage Dr. Bhattacharya, a man who knows the truth about vivisection and is in a position to do something about ending it at the NIH. He may be frightened and covering his behind with what he knows are lies, but public pressure has been known to change minds. Let him hear from you in your own words or cut and paste the paragraph below.
This is the site for general comments to the NIH https://www.nih.gov/about-nih/ask-nih Address your comments to Dr. Bhattacharya.
Dear Dr. Bhattacharya:
It is clear that you understand that experiments on animals cannot be extrapolated to humans because of differences in physiology, metabolism, genetics, biochemistry, diet, and environment. It is not science and it does not work. We know that you also understand that using so-called animal models to find cures to any disease has been a complete failure. Alzheimer’s researchers have tortured countless animals for over 100 years in their vivisection laboratories purporting to be searching for an “animal model” for Alzheimer’s. Obviously, this has not worked. The search for animal models to find cures to any disease is a complete fraud and must be discontinued. We also ask that you end the horrific experiments being perpetrated by NIH institutes like the Eunice Shriver Child Health and Human Development Institute. For over 50 years the Shriver Labs have perpetrated unspeakably horrific torture on baby monkeys and their mothers for no purpose other than obtaining grants for vivisectors. The closing of the notorious NIH Eunice Shriver Baby Monkey Lab in Poolesville, MD in 2015 was a good start. We realize that standing up against the powerful vivisection industry takes a great deal of courage, but we sincerely hope that you will find that courage inside yourself and that complete abolition of vivisection will happen under your watch in the near future.
Sincerely,
TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE DEDICATED TO ENDING VIVISECTION
We’ve come a long way towards exposing the fraud of animal experimentation and AV groups have closed down many labs in the past 40 years. We’ve watched it happen and we and our supporters have been a part of a lot of those victories. We believe that with persistent education we will see animal experimentation abolished in our lifetime and never come back.
ONE LAST THING
As I’m about to send out this newsletter I saw that tonight is that sad and tragic night when several networks at the same time broadcast STAND UP TO CANCER. Celebrities and entertainers who never bother to find out that they are raising money for animal experimentation during these telethons are enlisted to be pied pipers for the vivisection industry. Ignorant people who think they are doing a good thing send in their money to be spent on researching a cure for cancer. It is disheartening to see this continue year after year with no one asking, “After one hundred years of spending billions of dollars on cancer research experimenting on animals, isn’t this pointless? Shouldn’t it end? Isn’t it time to investigate the many holistic cures available that actually work?” But none of the celebrities will venture to ask those questions. They, like the audience, have blinders on and those of us who know the truth have no choice but to continue on doing our best to break through the wall of lies and endless animal suffering.

Thank you for keeping the calls coming in to councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson at 213-473-7008 and asking him to put Motion 25-0446 on the floor so the City Council can vote to send Billy and Tina to a sanctuary. His email is councilmember.harris-dawson@lacity.org.
You all do amazing work. And we are grateful to each one of you. Please encourage others to sign up for our newsletter. kindnessandscience.org The more people we can educate and inspire to take action the more we can benefit the animals.
