That may be because he was just confirmed and may not even have set foot in his office yet. But we want to make sure that he gets our message as soon as he does. I am writing to you regarding the fraud, waste, and abuse that has been perpetrated at the National Institutes of Health for many decades. Tens of billions of of our tax dollars have been allocated by Congress to the NIH who, in turn, doled out this money to thousands of animal experimenters (also known as vivisectors and biomedical researchers) all over the country. This money has been given to private laboratories, universities, hospitals, and disease organizations who claim to be looking for a “cure” to whatever disease they are representing. The fact is NOT ONE CURE TO ANY DISEASE HAS EVER COME OUT OF ANY OF THESE VIVISECTION LABORATORIES – NOT ONE. It is a scientific fact that experiments on animals cannot be extrapolated to humans because of differences in physiology, metabolism, genetics, biochemistry, diet and environment. It does not work. It is not science. This fraud, waste, and cruelty continues because the NIH is run by and for animal experimenters who have perpetuated for 100 years the myth that “cures” come from animal experimentation. An obvious lie. The Cancer Society has promised a “cure” for 100 years. Alzheimer’s researchers have promised a cure for 100 years. Both groups and all the other disease organizations want more money to keep looking for “cures” they never find. Once a vivisector receives an NIH grant it is renewed year after year in a custom known as “research welfare.” They need not show any results, only promise future “breakthroughs.” The only “breakthroughs” the vivisectors ever announce are drugs that do not cure, that temporarily suppress symptoms, and are usually taken off the market after they harm and kill people. Attempts to cut down on this waste at the NIH will bring about loud screams of protest from pharma, the vivisectors, and their allies in the media. The vivisectors have become wealthy off our tax dollars for producing absolutely nothing except toxic drugs that enrich them. For the sake of human health and the sake of the animals living lives of hell in vivisection labs, please put an end to this wasteful debacle and encourage clinical research at the NIH and the many non-animal research modalities that are available now that actually are science.
